F-117 Nighthawk
Faceted surfaces turn radar-signature requirements into a radical aircraft form.

Design & history
The F-117 first flew in 1981. Its faceted exterior and canted tails are a useful contrast to the B-2 flying wing. The F designation does not make it an air-superiority fighter.
